The Piwapan Women’s Centre in Lac la Ronge, Saskatchewan, held a walk from the Lac la Ronge Indian Band Office to the Urban Reserve, followed by a meal of chili and bannock. The event, part of their Sisters in Spirit Vigil, allowed the community to honour those lost, grieve, and support one another.
