Focus area:
The Kenora Makwa Patrol was started in 2016 after the disappearance of 16 year old Delaine Copenace, and used to be the Kenora Chapter of the Bear Clan Patrol that originated in Winnipeg. They patrol by vehicle and by foot to build relationships with people experiencing homelessness, work with community partners and organizations, and often share food, water, snacks and kindness.
