Grade 10 students at Maple Ridge Secondary School hung red dresses on trees to honour Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (MMIWG). Their “Say Her Name, Walk Her Walk” project aimed to walk 725 kilometers but reached 3,098 km. The event included traditional drumming and singing to celebrate Indigenous women’s strength.
