    On October 4, 2024, a vigil to honour and raise awareness for MMIWG2S took place at Grandview Park in Vancouver, co-organized by community groups and supported by PSAC BC Vancouver Regional Women’s Committee. The event included bannock and performances, and attendees were encouraged to wear red and bring drums.
