The Sisters in Spirit memorial stone, built by the Grande Prairie Friendship Centre and unveiled on the national day to honour MMIWG, stands at Grande Prairie Regional College, featuring a sandblasted image of a jingle dress dancer symbolizing water and healing. It is a place people can go to for healing, for prayers and for remembrance.
