2006

This documentary by Métis filmmaker Christine Welsh is on the epidemic of missing or murdered Indigenous women in Canada. The film focuses on five Indigenous women, three of whom went missing or were murdered in Vancouver’s skid row, the Highway of Tears in northern BC, and Saskatoon. Welsh tried to give a voice to those who do not always have a voice.
