Cleansing the Highway of Tears

This song was written by Kym Gouchie as she took part in a healing walk to raise awareness of MMIWG on the Highway of Tears. Angela Rudden, a music instructor in Toronto, had her students write an orchestral score to accompany the song, and Gouchie recorded a vocal track to work with the arrangement and included it on her album Northern Shining Star Woman.
