I created a music set for a MMIW fundraising event and have since performed it at others, using samples from news and the track ‘Baby Girl’ by SoloCree, driven by my commitment to raising awareness as someone from a family of strong Indigenous women.

Missing Justice is a Montreal-based collective working with Indigenous groups across Quebec and Canada to secure justice for missing and murdered Indigenous women, advocating for public investigations, more research funding, Native-run support centers, and police training in anti-oppression.

“The Journey of Hope” Red Dress monument in Prince George
This monument was unveiled by the Red Dress Campaign in Prince George, to recognize the loss of Indigenous sisters, mothers, daughters and loved ones. The monument is located on Highway 16. The book “Highway of Tears” by Jessica McDiarmid, as well as CDS and a limited edition print, both by artist Kym Gouchie, were also sold during the event.
