A national exhibition by imagineNATIVE showcases four one-minute films by Indigenous filmmakers honouring Indigenous women, displayed across Toronto’s subway and shopping centers nationwide, focusing on the theme of Stolen Sisters.

In the film, Indigenous university student Tanis Wolf, portrayed by Roseanne Supernault, goes missing on her way to her grandmother’s reserve, leading her parents to mobilize a local search party after police show little interest, ultimately discovering her tragic fate by a river, plunging her family into deep grief.
