BC MMIWG Coalition
The Coalition on Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls in British Columbia is comprised of family members and survivors, and more than 40 organizations and Indigenous nations together. It is a broad network of grassroots organizations and individuals who have come together to address the crisis of murdered and disappeared Indigenous women and girls in BC and Canada.

Okihtcitawak Patrol Group
OPG was formed after members heard about a 12-year-old girl who was nearly grabbed and forced into the trunk of a vehicle. Modelled after the Bear Clan Patrol, OPG does activities like needle patrols around the core neighbourhood; assist individuals by connecting them to resources, assist in finding a bed to sleep on, or give out water and lunches when available.

Safe Passage is provided by NWAC as a community-driven, trauma-informed, survivor-centred initiative that tracks cases of MMIWG2S+, monitors ongoing safety concerns, provides safety resources and educates the public.
