Mamawe! Mekowishwewin miyomachowin: Being Together Gives us Solace
A gathering created for the families, by the families of MMIWG2S that took place from November 7 – 10, 2019, in Regina, Saskatchewan. This family-organized meeting was made as an alternative to the MMIWG national inquiry and had healing as its main goal, as well as making connections and finding support from one another. A report was later prepared by the MMIWG2S+ Family-led Research Team.
