Comprehensive Safety Community Plan
A response plan by the Fort St. John Women’s Resource Society aimed at improving community response when Indigenous women and girls go missing in northeast British Columbia. The plan is a direct response to a 2016 Amnesty International report documenting the risks Indigenous women and girls face in northeast B.C., and Fort St. John in particular.

All Children Matter: Protecting Sacred Lives
Hosted by the Winnipeg Sexually Exploited Youth Community Coalition, this public forum heard recommendations and consultations on how Canadians can come together to bring an end to sexual trafficking. Intergenerational Effects of Incarceration and MMIWG2S+
This report by the Native Women’s Association of Canada (NWAC) addresses the systemic links between the over-incarceration of Indigenous women, girls, Two-Spirit, Transgender, and Gender-Diverse people and the ongoing MMIWG2S+ genocide, highlighting the need for culturally relevant, trauma-informed, and Indigenous-led approaches. Along with their final report, NWAC released a toolkit to aid in the safe release from carceral institutions.
