Ongoing Advocacy Community Safety Events & Gatherings Healing & Ceremony Marches & Rallies

The annual Take Back the Night event in Bancroft on September 19, 2024, featured a ceremony, crafts, live music, speakers, and a candle-lit march to empower and unite women. The Shawashkong Ikwe Singers opened and closed the event, and there was a smudging ceremony before they first started singing.
