The Assembly of First Nations (AFN) developed a comprehensive action plan to address violence against First Nations women, girls, and 2SLGBTQQIA+ people, emphasizing culturally appropriate, trauma-informed support, and drawing from the 231 Calls for Justice, with priorities including a national investigative taskforce, increased funding, and the revitalization of traditional laws and cultural practices.
